An evidence register is a pre-prepared working paper that may be used to capture and record electronic evidence in support of an EWP project.
The purpose of the register is to
- act as a contemporaneous (daily) record of evidence as it is captured
- provide useful additional details as to the source and description of the evidence
- show where - on your local computer or network - the evidence has been stored
- record how the evidence has been named - so it can be found again
- record precisely where, within the current project, the evidence should be posted
- post the evidence into the project automatically when the user is ready - the effect of this process is to create all the appropriate indexes and references in one pass
Remarks
Access to the pre-prepared evidence registers is only available for
'Fixed Location Projects'.
