The ACBA-EWP short-cut tool bar provides instant access to the most commonly used EWP functions. All the functions are replicated within the main menu.

There are 12 functions on the tool bar. These are described in the table below.

Icon	Help Description	Full Description
	New Working Paper	Calls the standard user form for creating and registering a new working paper.
	Edit Working Paper	Calls the standard user form for locating and editing existing working papers.
	Add to Evidence Index	Calls the standard user form for adding a new item of evidence to the Documentary Evidence Index
	Edit Evidence Index	Activates the Documentary Evidence Index- if one exists
	Insert Cross Reference	Calls the standard user form for creating cross references within an EWP project.
	Project Guidance and Templates	Calls the standard user form that allows a user to generate a template outside an EWP project. Useful when the main project is locked by another user.
	Copy active sheet into EWP project	Calls a form which allows the user to select from current active projects. Subsequently calls NWP (see above) to create and register the working paper in that project.
	Copy active sheet to new workbook	This copies the active sheet, irrespective of whether or not the sheet is a registered EWP working paper.
	Name a Range	Calls a 'User Form' for creating and validating a named range specific to the worksheet.
	Post a Working Paper review flag	Posts a text box on the Working Paper showing who reviewed it and the date.
	Backwards	Retraces the working papers visited as recorded in EWP - previous 10 visits recorded
	Forwards	As for Backwards - above - but in the opposite direction.
