It is a requirement of the EWP software that Documentary Evidence must be associated with a registered Working Paper. Indeed the reference to the Working Paper forms part of the reference to the evidence itself.

Once created and registered however the evidence can be referred to and accessed from anywhere within the EWP project. When you have selected the Working Paper destination, all the evidence associated with that Working Paper is also available to refer to. See below for an example

References to Documentary Evidence are normally generated automatically as you register the Evidence. This process also generates a return link to the source Working Paper.
