Bi-directional Cross Reference

As the name implies, these are two references that link forwards and backwards to each other. Rather than pointing direct to a specific cell these references direct the reader's attention to information close by - usually in an adjacent cell or cell range.

EWP requires that both cells to be linked are intially empty.

The process of creating a Bi-directional cross reference is carrried out in 2 phases.
