Cross-references may be inserted anywhere within the project.

All cross-references inserted using the ‘Enter Cross Reference’ dialog form are put into the current active cell and also carry a hyperlink to the relevant working paper or the indexed documentary evidence description.

You can call the ‘Enter Cross Reference’ dialog form from the short cut tool bar or from the main menu (‘ACBA Functions’, ‘EWP Project’, ‘Insert Cross Reference’).

Under the standard cross-reference you can point either to another indexed working paper (including addressing a specific cell) or to the audit evidence index.

Remarks

Cross references must be placed in their own cell. That is they cannot form part of a long text string as in a word processing programme.
