Structural Indexes

Each EWP Project has its own deeply hidden worksheet which controls the structure and the registration of Working Papers within the project. The 'Indexes' described here are registered Working Papers that provide printable representations of the project structure as at the time of processing.

For convenience, the Working Paper Index is automatically regenerated every time a user creates/registers a new Working Paper. This form of the Index also has hyperlinks to each individual Working Paper. Also each Working Paper has a cross reference to the Working Paper Index (A002) at cell H3.

Each of the Indexes is design to offer various levels of detail to the user.

Index Name Description Location
Front Page Index Provides a plan of the Project Modules and Sub-Sections A001
Working Paper Index Lists each registered Working Paper within their respective Project Modules and Sub-Sections A002
Complete Index Lists each Working Paper and the indexed supporting evidence associated with it, for an individual Sub-Section. At position ***0 of the Sub-Section

Users can (re-) generate any of the Indexes at any point during the conduct of a Project from the form 'Print an Index'. This can be accessed from the main menu bar 'ACBA Functions', 'EWP Project', 'Project Structure', 'Index' and generates the following form.

Complete the required fields and click 'OK'.

Remarks

Editing the name of a Module, Sub-Section, individual Working Paper or Supporting evidence within any of these Indexes does not change the underlying naming or structure of the Project. There are special processes for doing this.
